Longport's mission is to become a premier provider of advanced, high resolution imaging systems that enhance the prevention, assessment and treatment of medical conditions.
Longport develops, manufactures, markets, and sells high resolution ultrasound imaging systems. The company sub-contracts product manufacturers and primarily utilizes distributors to sell its products. Longport’s imaging system, the EPISCAN I-200, can have connected to it a range of interchangeable imaging probes that enable the imaging of the skin and underlying soft tissue at frequencies between 20 and 50MHz. Our products are developed for point-of-care use, meaning they are primarily expected to be used by the clinician who is seeking the diagnostic data.
The Company's technology is being utilized in broad range of applications including the following market sectors:
